Wer sind die Akteure und was sind die Faktoren, die Wohnraum zu einem der größten Problembereiche der heutigen Zeit machen? Leilani Farha, UN-Sonderberichterstatterin für das Menschenrecht auf Wohnen, reist um die Welt, um herauszufinden, wer diese Menschen sind, die aus ihren Wohnungen getrieben werden und warum. But in many cities around the world living space is hardly affordable and life in urban areas is becoming increasingly difficult. This development is neither natural nor inevitable. Why can’t we afford to live in cities where we work anymore? Who are the actors and why is the right to live in cities so threatened? Leilani Farha, UN Special Rapporteur on the Human Right to Housing, travels the world to learn more about the people, being driven out of their homes. Because it is time to realize that housing is a human right and not a commodity.
